{sneakpeek} of some pretty little things

Here is a preview of some of the Rosette Necklaces I've been working on.

So far I have been able to make  3 mustard, 2 royal blue, and 2 teal necklaces. I also made 3 headbands... And when I was at Safeway yesterday, the gal that works there asked me where I got my necklace and when I told her I made it, she asked me to make one for her!

In about an hour we will have DeLaney and Riley (My husbands young cousins) over to play! They are very fond of Olivia and I am very fond of having a couple extra hands around to entertain her! We will also be doing some crafts which I have not decided upon yet... This could get messy! :)

Busy crafting...

Today I was able to complete 4 rosette necklaces!( Two teal and two royal blue.) I also rolled enough mustard rosettes for 3 necklaces. I ran out of chain before I could complete them, which means Olivia and I will be taking a drive to the craft store tomorrow a.m.!

Last night for dinner I made a delicious pasta. I call it Seafood Caprese Pasta, here is the recipe:
-1 lb. Raw jumbo shrimp
-1/2 lb. Raw scallops
- box of pasta (I always get whole wheat)
-1 tbs. Butter
-1 garlic clove, minced
-1 jar of Alfredo sauce
-2 vine ripened tomatoes, cut into half inch cubes
-1/4 cup fresh basil, torn into small bits

Begin by boiling water for your noodles and cookin those up! Heat butter and garlic in a large saucepan, add shrimp and scallops on medium heat ( these cook fast!). Done when shrimp turns pink. Add Alfredo sauce, tomatoes, basil, and noodles and let simmer for at least five minutes so all the flavors melt together. Add a pinch of salt and pepper, a voila!!!

Rosette Necklaces

The past week I have been looking up new tutorials I'd like to try before the end of summer.
I decided on:
- Rosette Necklaces (Pink, Lime, Teal, Blue, and Mustard)
-Homemade Soap (Lavendar)
-Mini Scrapbook

I also need to work on Olivia's Scrapbook! I have totally dropped the ball there....
Because I'm so busy giving her smootches!

I forgot I had a blog....

I always browse around other peoples blogs, reading tutorials, getting crafting ideas, etc., and I always think the idea of a blog is cool. I seem to be terrible at it, however... I spend more time reading everyone elses and neglecting my sweet little baby blog.
ANYWAYS!
I just cleaned up my bedroom and got all my crafting goods unppacked and put in their new home. I have a whole list of things I want to make. I'm making rosette necklaces right now that are ADORABLE. Next, I'd like to take a stab at home made soap! I have a whole bag of lavendar that would be scrum-diddly on soap!

Oh dear, I need lunch before beebee Livi wakes!
